A Day in the Life.. // Paul McCartney

Via my day job I work for a company called Space Systems that sell Vacuum packed plastic bags to help storage, they are shipped from over in China and westbound shipping who deal with the delivery of this invited Myself and Hannah my colleague to go and see either take that, Paul McCartney or fleet wood mac at the O2 Arena in their VIP box.

Hannah and myself felt it would be a laugh to go but couldn't make the other two acts and decided to go to see Paul McCartney anyway. It is a nightmare as we had to leave about an hour earlier so missed the whole finale so we could get the tube back to Liverpool street as the last train to Stansted was at 11:25 we got there with 2 minutes to spare. We ran the entire way and were sat there on the tube palms sweating thinking are we going to have to get a taxi from London to Essex? How much would that have cost?!

But overall the night was really nice we didn't have to queue and we got entrance into the American Express VIP lounge before the show started which is where we had the yummy cocktails you see above.

We thought we would go and get a cocktail check out the lounge and then go back out of the arena to get some food from the places right before the O2, but once they scanned out ticket they wouldn't let us back out and back in and so we ended up ordering some Nachos from Westbounds Box.

I like being a box as you don't have to queue and everything is really chilled out but you do miss a lot of the feeling of the concert and being down in the stands with everyone else gives you a much bigger buzz. The box even had a tv in and I mean your not gonna sit down and start watching a movie when there is a live act on are you !

Have you ever been in a Box at an Area before?

Thanks for Reading
